nubia Z80 Ultra: Display and Camera Upgrades Revealed

The upcoming nubia flagship smartphone is almost here. The company’s Vice President teased the device on Weibo, highlighting its advanced camera system and display technology. Soon after, well-known tipster Digital Chat Station confirmed part of these details.

Just like its predecessors, the nubia Z80 Ultra will feature a full-screen design with no punch-hole for the selfie camera. The front camera will once again sit beneath the OLED panel, but this time engineers reportedly made further improvements to the technology.

The display will keep its 144 Hz refresh rate and 380 Hz touch sampling rate.

On the back, the main camera will retain its 35 mm focal length, but the highlight will be a larger ultrawide sensor combined with an enhanced lens correction algorithm.

For comparison, the nubia Z70 Ultra was released last November, meaning the nubia Z80 Ultra is expected to launch at least a month later.
