Acer’s AI-Powered Smart Ring Redefines Wearable Health Tech
Acer has officially introduced its first-ever smart ring, the FreeSense Ring, during Computex 2025, surprising the tech world. This new wearable offers health tracking and AI-powered personal analysis features.
Stepping beyond its well-known laptops and monitors, Acer joins the wearable tech race alongside Samsung and Oura. The FreeSense Ring stands out with its advanced biometric tracking and lifestyle recommendations based on user data.
The ring monitors heart rate, blood oxygen levels, heart rhythm changes, and sleep quality. Thanks to Acer’s AI-driven analytics system, these measurements are turned into custom health insights and lifestyle tips, positioning FreeSense Ring as more than just a tracker—it’s a daily health companion.
Weighing only 2 to 3 grams, the ring features a durable titanium alloy body and is available in sizes 7 to 13. With its 5ATM water resistance, users can wear it while swimming. The sleek design comes in two elegant colors: glossy black and matte rose gold.
While Acer hasn’t announced an official release date or price, more details are expected in the coming weeks. With its impressive tech, the FreeSense Ring could become a serious contender in the smart ring market.
